Good Morning, America

It was a nice surprise this morning to find that my first blog post for Open Salon has been promoted to the front page.

One of the many joys of blogging for me is that community boundaries aren’t defined by geography, but by shared ways of seeing the world.

Unfortunately, although Americans and Brits find common ground in cyberspace, there will always be something to drive a wedge between us: the difference between GMT and EST/CDT. Personally, though, I love the idea of always being just a few hours ahead.
