If you enjoy reading my blog, you might be interested to know that I can be found in other corners of the internet too.
I write regularly for the Sustainable Witney blog, most recently about the Cogges Link Road inquiry.
In the past few months I’ve also written for The Restless Consumer about the failures of the Midcounties Co-op and BT.
Most recently, I did a five-minute talk at November’s Oxford Geek Night (OGN24) entitled Why can't a Luddite be more like a geek? I’ve just been invited to repeat this talk for Oxford Girl Geek Dinners on January 10th. I’m flattered to be asked and have accepted the invitation, but will be modifying the talk to reflect the fact that there might be a good few non-geeks in the audience. (You don’t have to be either a girl or a geek to attend the Girl Geek Dinners; I’ve suggested that to avoid confusion the organisers should simply rename it “Dinners”, but this idea wasn’t received with the enthusiasm I expected.)
